Union Pacific Railroad piggyback train symbol OANPZ had engines 6040, 6042, 3428 at Borie on September 19, 1987. The line in the foreground branches off and joins the line to Denver at Speer. This connecting track was added in 1909 so trains between Denver and Laramie didn't have to turn around at Cheyenne. Today, eastbound trains to Denver use this line while westbound trains out of Denver can either use this line to access the original Overland Route or stay on the Harriman Line up to Dale Junction. The OANPZ had 45 loads at 3,730 tons. Disk 76
