It was good that I stuck around or I would have missed a very rare movement. Train ZZGDW is a special for CNW and UP officials touring the Powder River Basin. I was never quite sure about the train symbol, but that is what the operator gave me at Bill. The train had engines CNW 8527 and UP 9454. I didn't see a lot of people on the train. I think the big wigs chartered planes to get them back to Omaha and Chicago.
I should have been suspicious at the time that the CNW would soon be absorbed by the UP. This did occur in 1995. Disk 81
