I chased this train from Bonners Ferry, ID to Chumstick Canyon just north of Leavenworth, WA. Train 3 (Pacific Zip) picks up train orders at Harrington, WA on June 22, 1979. The lead unit is C&S 900. The elevation here is 2,177 feet and the line has begun a slow decent to 605 feet at the Columbia River crossing near Rock Island. Disk 7 |
