The Western Railroad Video Sales List contains four videos that I produced and several videos from other producers. In 1992, I began shooting railroad videos. The majority of my train footage was taken west of the Mississippi, primarily in the desert Southwest.

The following descriptions have links to AVI video clips so you can view samples from my productions. Each video clip is about 1.8 Megabytes and will run for ten seconds.

Currently available:

Western Coal Part I - the Pacific Northwest

Western Coal Part I covers BNSF railroad operations in the Pacific Northwest, southeastern Montana and northern Wyoming. 45 minutes, in color, live audio, and narration $15.00
Powder River Bridge in eastern Montana
Donkey Creek Junction in Wyoming
More information and a still picture.

Western Coal Part 2 - Powder River Basin

Western Coal Part 2 looks at the big show along the Orin Line in eastern Wyoming as BNSF and UP trains move nearly one million tons of coal per day out of the Powder River Basin. 57 minutes, in color, live audio, and narration $15.00
We caught a three train meet on Logan Hill. The first train was the CNAMSUD going to Superior, WI. The second train was the CCAPP going to Pleasant Prairie. As it was passing the CSLCBTM headed north on the middle main. This video has more than just long slow coal trains. Further south we caught the Laurel to Denver manifest at Cassa.
More information and a still picture.

Union Pacific Trains in Eastern Oregon

Union Pacific Trains in Eastern Oregon covers railroad operations in the Blue Mountains. 45 minutes, in color, live audio, and narration $15.00

Narrow Gauge Steam Specials

Narrow Gauge Steam Specials is pure entertainment. Narration is kept to a minimum. Hear that lonesome whistle blow. We follow the Durango and Silverton engine 478 in the snow, the Eureka & Palisade No 4, and three different double headers on the Cumbres and Toltec. 55 minutes, in color, live audio, and narration $30.00
More information and video still pictures.
