The Ford Fast comes into Thistle on December 2, 1975. Some boxcar traffic was added to the headend at Pueblo and some piggyback traffic was added at Grand Junction to the rearend. Automatic block signals were installed from Helper to Soldier Summit in 1928 and then between Soldier Summit and Provo in 1930. Most of the line from Helper to Gilluly had CTC by 1965. CTC was extended down the hill to Springville in 1974. Disk 30
