Two Union Pacific SD45s lead Train 692 through Black River at 11:35AM on February 3, 1973. The train has just gotten onto the Milwaukee Road tracks and is crossing over the former NP tracks. The UP had been experimenting with radio controlled helpers. Both of these SD45s had the extra radio antennas above the cab. Right behind this train will be a Milwaukee Road train with radio controlled helpers.
