Just about sunset Extra 6647 East rolls south of Calvert and passed the approach signal for Seger on December 14, 1977. BSMFY was the new train symbol for the old Advanced BSM. However the train didn't operate on a hot schedule like the Blue Streak Merchandise.

Initially named Sterling the town was moved closer to the H&TC in 1868 and renamed Calvert for Judge Robert Calvert.
