On November 1, 1980 I caught the Plano Local on its way back to Miller Yard. The engine is just east of Belt Junction Tower.
Later that same day I was surprised to see Rock Island engine 4311 on the point of MP train symbol NF out of New Orleans. The other MP engines are 4524 and 4537. This picture was taken from the tower window. You can see Fox siding to the right of the train. The track that diverges to the right goes to Miller Yard. The Rock Island had just gone belly up and many GP38s went to the Missouri Pacific in April 1980. Engine 4311 was later renumbered to MP 2249. Most of Fox siding was removed in 1987. Disk 94
