Burlington Northern train 152 climbs out of the Red River Valley toward the little community of Carey on January 11, 1980. The train is about to pass the approach signal for the CTC controlled siding at Carey. You can't see it in the picture, but the wind is blowing like crazy as a cold front is moving in. Train 152 would stop at Childress for a crew change. The crew was not called for a couple hours, so I continued east and caught a couple trains a Quanah. Disk 88
