MKT engine 625 brings train symbol 103 to a stop at Ney Yard

Engines 625 and 600 bring train symbol 103 to a stop at the south end of Ney Yard on September 12, 1986. The SD40-2s in the 600 number series were acquired between 1978 and 1981 to handle the coal trains for the power plant at Halstead, TX. These units were pooled with BN SD40-2s and U33Cs between the power plant and the Powder River Basin in Wyoming. The middle track is the yard lead and on the left is the scale track. Disk 102
