Seven years later I made another visit to Belt Junction on November 21, 1987. Train ESDAQ (East St. Louis to Dallas Quality) is just moments away from it final destination at Miller Yard. The train used trackage rights over the UP from Big Sandy to MP Junction. |

About an hour later train DAASM (Dallas to Alton and Southern in East St. Louis Manifest) comes out of Miller Yard with engines 7436, NHL 6692, 7634, and 6606. Notice in the passing shot that most of Fox siding has been removed. I think the SP pulled up much of this siding in 1986. |
