Later the same afternoon (November 1st) engine 2719 heads toward Miller Yard at Belt Junction. From up inside the tower we see an MP train led by CRI&P 4311 approaching Belt Junction. The Rock Island had just gone belly up and many GP38s went to the Missouri Pacific in April 1980. Engine 4311 was later renumbered to MP 2249.
