Engine 6089 comes by the North Fort Worth Tower with a transfer on November 28, 1980. The famed Fort Worth stockyards are off to the left. During World War II the stockyards were processing about four million head of cattle each year. There had been two major meat processing plants in the area. Armour shut down in 1962 and Swift closed its doors in 1972.
