Train 103 is coming out of Denton and going under the Santa Fe branch line into Dallas. The Santa Fe branch line was completed in 1956 and gave the Santa Fe a better route for traffic between Kansas City and Dallas. Before this branch line was completed, this traffic had to move through Cleburne, south of Fort Worth. I chased train 103 south and got another picture at Argyle. The date was April 13, 1979.
