The last train robbery in Texas occurred near here in 1912. Extra 9387 East is approaching Feodora (milepost 500) seven miles east of Sanderson on December 4, 1977. The mileposts were adjusted east of Sanderson after the Amistad Dam project was completed in the early 60s.
