On September 12, 1986 several MKT units with two cabooses are moving passed the tower on their way to Peach Yard. The MKT took over the Rock Island trackage from Abilene, KS through El Reno, OK to Fort Worth in 1980. These units will pick up their train at Peach Yard and go up the former Rock Island on the short lived Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas Railroad. |
