BN engines 2368 and 3059 at Tower 55

The Texas and Pacific Railway reached Fort Worth on July 19, 1876. Tower 55 in downtown Fort Worth is the busiest junction in Texas and until just a couple years ago was railfan friendly. Now the best advice is to stay clear. On September 12, 1989 MP engines 3018 and 3001 idle on the middle track while BN engines 2368 and 3059 have just completed a setout at the Ginny Yard and are moving back toward the tower. The Ginny Yard is named for the I&GN Railroad which built much of the track later taken over by the Missouri Pacific.
