SP Train BRLAT at tunnel No. 5

The engines on train BRLAT (Extra 7155 East) emerge from the smokey confines of tunnel No. 5 on February 9, 1974. Tunnel No. 5 is the longest on Tehachapi at 1,175 feet. Engine 7155 had been used with the other U28Cs on the Eagle Mountain unit iron ore trains out of Ferrum, CA. The BRLAT is running late due to track problems in Oregon caused by excessive rain.
