The sun has set behind the mountains and train 79 (BN extra 6309 West) is about to cross Cabin Creek on April 20, 1973. The semaphore signals were removed when the line was mothballed in 1982. The track was rebuilt in 1995 and the line later reopened to ease the strain on Stevens Pass.
