T&NO CTC semaphore signals at Beeville, Texas

Most of the SP (former T&NO) branch from Rosenburg, TX to the Rio Grande Valley was dark territory. However, a short stretch between Beeville and Skidmore had semaphore signals and CTC installed, since this part of the line also handled traffic between San Antonio and the Texas Gulf coast. This short stretch of CTC went into service on January 18, 1930 and was the first installation of CTC on the SP east of El Paso. Extra 6622 West passes a pair of signals at Beeville on December 8, 1977. Beeville is at milepost 93 (measured from San Antonio). Disk 103
