Cut into the middle of the coal train are engines 3205, 3148, and 3194.  The train is bound for the Marshall plant on Lake Norman. The Duke Power Marshall power plant has four units. The first unit went online in 1965. Duke Power began installing scrubbers in 2004 and this work was completed in 2007. In total the four units can produce 2,090 megawatts.
