Two and a half miles south of SP's Klamath Falls Yard, train symbol MEKFM passes Texum on July 7, 1989. It has engines 9398, 8290, and 8573 pulling 35 cars. This train originated at Medford, OR and went over the Siskiyou Mountains to Black Butte, CA. The power then ran around the train, set out cars for reclassification at Roseville, CA, and then headed to Klamath Falls. These 35 cars will be added to this afternoon's EUASM. |
