It is 9:03 AM on April 19, 1995 and the truck bomb has just gone off destoying the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City. About this same time, the HOLBT had stopped in Deming. Engines 9744, 9617, and 9778 have cut off from the train and are backing down the siding to pick up three Tunnel Motors for a work train at Sibyl. I didn't hear about the bombing in Oklahoma until I called my wife later in the day.
