Train SCLSP (Extra 6607 West) comes by the old depot at Willcox on December 3, 1977. This train originates at Hamlet, NC and is a run-thru with the SCL via New Orleans. The depot was built in 1914 and was moved away from the tracks in 1998 by the city. It now serve the City Hall. Willcox is at milepost 1075 at 4,160 feet in elevation. Willcox is the hometown of cowboy turned movie star Rex Allen.
