Fifty miles northeast of Texarkana, the Blue Streak Merchandise (extra 9250 west) passes engines of Southern Pacific heritage at McNeil, AR on October 21, 1978. The F units are now working for the Louisiana & Northwestern. After a few more switching moves, the L&NW units will haul their train south to Gibsland, LA.
