Southern Pacific piggyback train symbol LAEST at Tower 72 in Corsicana

On the east side of Corsicana, the Cotton Belt crossed over the old Burlington Rock Island line at Tower 72 (milepost 621 on the Cotton Belt). On the morning of December 15, 1977 Extra 9344 East (the Merchandise - train symbol LAEST) has set out the cars for Dallas, made its air test, and is now crossing the BRI mainline. Tower 72 was built in 1907 and torn down around 1984.
