The Klamath Falls area was great for the railfan. There were three different railroads: the Southern Pacific with about 20 trains a day, the Great Northern (later BN) with up to six trains a day, and the Oregon, California and Eastern with one train a day. On June 13, 1987, the OC&E train has returned from Bly (65 miles to the east) with flat cars of logs. Pulling the train are former U25Bs 7602, 7603, 7605, and 7601. |
