Southern Pacific freight train symbol PTCIY at Dunsmuir, CA

Train PTCIY was stopped for a crew change at Dunsmuir (milepost 322) on June 8, 1980. Coming out of Klamath Falls the turbocharger blew up on engine 8902. It sprayed oil all over the top and end of the first boxcar. You can also see some oil spots on the cab.
