We heard that a loaded coal train was approaching Andrews and headed up to the State Highway 41 railroad crossing north of town. Engines 8162, 3605, 8046, and 1267 lead the southbound coal train.

This train was loaded in Kentucky and came down the former Clinchfield to Bostic, then east on the former SAL Through Charlotte, Monroe, Hamlet, then south to Andrews.
