From 1972 through 1987, the Oregon Pacific and Eastern offered train rides behind steam. The first train of the day is at Walden on August 8, 1981. Engine 19 is a Baldwin built in 1915 for the Caddo & Choctaw Railroad and after the Oregon Pacific and Eastern shut down went to the Yreka Western in 1988. |
