Train 508 (Extra 5250 West) is rolling by the old siding at Manuelito on May 31, 1989. Train 508 was scheduled out of Dallas at 2:00PM and out of Gallup at 5:10AM the second morning. It was scheduled to arrive at Barstow at 10:10PM on the third day. The old US 66 had to hug the hillside as the tracks are right at the base of the hill near Lupton. That is the Puerco River next to the tracks and I40 in the background. Disk 66
