Train HOWCQ with engines 8129, 8102, and 8079 waits for a crew change at Lordsburg on April 19, 1995. The train has 62 loads, 16 empties at 8,064 tons. You might remember this day as it was when Timothy McVey blew up the Murrow Building in downtown Oklahoma City. Lordsburg is at milepost 1148 at 4,250 feet in elevation. If you look down the track in the first picture, you will see the headlight of the approaching AVLBT. Disk 57
