The Southwest Chief is near Keota as it descends Raton Pass toward Raton. You can see where the westbound track used to be. Until the late 1950s the line from Raton all the way to Trinidad was double track. But then CTC was installed, one tunnel closed, and the double track removed on the west side of the pass. Disk 62
