Train KLLB6 has engines 6301, 6191, and 9161 at Potter, NE on May 17, 1992. Train symbol KLLB6 began in early 1988 and handled K-Line double stack containers for Long Beach. Just east of Potter is a nice "S" curve next to some low bluffs. This is a good spot for photography in the afternoon. |

Fourteen years earlier, I camped overnight at Potter and was up early the next morning (June 8, 1978) to get some train pictures. The first train by was the FMS (Forwarder Merchandise Special) coming almost right out of the sun. I did manage to get a going away picture. Train FMS had engines 3049, SP9246, and 8466 and connected with SP train OGOAZ at Ogden. Disk 77 |
