In 1950, the CB&Q installed US&S CTC between Ravenna and Seneca on 131 miles of single track. The Ravenna to Alliance segment had no signals before the CTC project. This was a unique CTC project as each siding got one power switch and one spring switch. The controlled sidings were lengthened, with the shortest at 128 cars, the longest at 158 cars. Disk 83
