I got my last shots of the train at Mount Holly. The signal to the right of the engine is not a block signal but a switch indicator. It will display red if the switch is not lined for the mainline. Except for crossing the Southern Railway, the district from Bostic all the way to Monroe was dark territory.
It was nice to see a clean caboose bringing up the rear of the train. At Mount Holly the train turned north on the branch up to the Duke Energy Marshall coal fired power plant at Terrell. Disk 129
