The train is starting to go into the siding at Yucca to let the second section of the westbound Fast Mail go by. In the picture below you can see the rear of the Fast Mail as another freight train chugs up the eastward main. On the point is a helper engine that will be cut out at Yampai.

As the train waited in the siding, Jack took this great color shot of Yucca. I don't know why there is a locomotive parked next to the water plugs on the eastward main.
