Just west of Pica the line curves to the north and climbs the grade up to Yampai. From Yampai, it is basically down hill all the way to the Colorado River. If a train does OK climbing this hill it should have no problems climbing the grade from Needles up to Goffs or the grade from Bagdad up Ash Hill.
