Union Pacific train NPSE2 Huntington, OR

Train NPSE2 has just left Huntington on June 10, 1989. It has engines 9235 and 9262 pulling 36 loads, 38 empties, 5,492 tons. NPSE began as the NWF (Northwest Forwarder) before 1955 operating to Seattle. It became the NCF (North Coast Forwarder) February 6, 1980 terminating at Hinkle. Connecting trains were NCFP to Portland and NCFS to Seattle, but these were dropped in late 1984 and the NCF continued to Seattle.
