The 750 mile Gulf and Mississippi was a spinoff from the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad in July 1985. The morning train to Mobile is just leaving Meridian, MS with former BN engines 7170, 7098, 6557, 6572, and G&M 8069 on January 2, 1987.
