Engine 1004 has finished switching at Wadley and is shoving the empty woodracks east in the siding. The brakeman has lined the switch to go up the old Louisville and Wadley Railroad to the loading facility just north of town.
I jumped in the car and caught the train again after it passed the College Avenue crossing. The engine continues to shove the empty cars north. Its a miracle that the train doesn't fall off the track. This is obviously not a high speed main line. The brakeman doesn't ride the train up to the facility, but chases the train in his pickup truck (on Murphy Street to the right), stopping at each grade crossing to stop traffic so the train can pass safely.
