Flagstaff is a good spot to stop for lunch when chasing trains over the Arizona Divide. The parade of trains thru town is almost constant. Train 589 with engines 5095, 2308 and 2853 rumbles by the station on February 21, 1988. Six and a half miles further west is Riordan, the top of the divide at 7,350 feet elevation. This was Santa Fe's third highest summit.
