Many of the CF7s were sold to short lines all over the country. However, some stayed close to home. Engines 2507, 2520, 2535, 2623 were sold to Rescar in February 1987. On February 15, 1988, engine 2623 rests in the morning sun at Saginaw, TX with another graduate of the Cleburne shops. Rescar had three CF7s at Saginaw to work a large grain mill.
