Storm clouds were moving in and there was not a lot of light when I took this picture late in the afternoon of October 27, 1977. I was surprised that I was able to salvage the picture. Time was running out on the F units. Engine 275 rolls through Rodgers, TX with train 395 headed for Houston. This was the last active set of F units that I saw on the Santa Fe. Rodgers is 14 miles southeast of Temple.
