AT&SF CF7 2631 on freight train symbol 593 at Morgan, Texas

Engines 2631, 2432, and an F7 B-unit roll down the hill toward the Brazos River with train 593 at Morgan, TX on November 18, 1978. Train 593 originated in Silsbee and operated on a 32 hour schedule to Argentine Yard. Morgan is 30 miles south of Cleburne. Engine 2631 was F3A 313C and came out of the Cleburne shops in December 1971 and later went to work at Zacky Farms in California. Note that the 2631 had the rounded cab roof while engine 2432 had the angular cab roof. Engine 2432 was F9A 288L and came out of the Cleburne shops in November 1977. The 2432 was among a group of CF7s that were traded to Amtrak for SDP40Fs in September 1984. Disk 108
