The grain rush is on and engine 262 and three more F7s have just pulled a unit grain train up out of the Brazos River valley. The train is now dropping downgrade into Meridian, TX on January 30, 1974. Right behind this train was another unit grain train. Engine 262 went through the Cleburne shops and emerged as CF7 2501 in September 1974.
