Union Pacific train symbol NPHOT Durant, OK

At Durant, OK on Oct. 22, 1988 train NPHOT with engines 3730, MP3063, 3291, and UPL506 meets MKT train 106 with MKT 225 on the point. The NPHOT symbol began on January 17, 1983 as the BHZ (Bailey Yard to Houston Trailers) and became the NPHOT September 10, 1985.

It is interesting that on our UP Day there was only one scheduled train between Okay Jct. and Fort Worth. If the NPHOT had been on time, it would have been near Durant.
