Southern Pacific freight train at California's Mormon Rocks in Cajon Pass

SP train symbol WCMEM with engines 9264, 7517, Rio Grande 5343, and 8356 is approaching the Mormon Rocks on June 7, 1987. We are just north of Canyon siding in California's Cajon Pass. In the foreground you can see our old Ford Fairmont. It was a gift to my wife several years before we were married. A short distance away, Ruth gives the train a careful rollby as she watches for boxcar art. This train had a Bozo Texino, five real Herbys and four fakes. See Box Car Art for some pictures of chalk drawings. This will open another window so you won't lose your place in this series. Disk 51
