The line used to go straight through to Bridgeport in the distance. However, the connector between the two legs of the wye was twisted into a unique S curve to permit interchange with the Union Pacific from either the line to Guernsey or the line to Alliance. This train departed Alliance about an hour ago and will curve right and head west to Guernsey. It will load at Black Thunder. The Jeffrey Energy trains use this interchange twice a day.
