San Antonio Public Service empties at Des Moines, NM

A BN empty coal train from San Antonio Public Service at Elmendorf, TX heads north to the Cordero mine for reloading. The head brakeman has just snagged the train orders at the Des Moines, NM depot on August 22, 1980. The train has engines SP 8689, 8739, BN 7936, 5505, 5578, and 5579. This train will go into the siding at Folsom to meet a loaded LRCA coal train bound for Halstead, TX.
